Zeds Dead – Global Dub Arena
Canada’s biggest bass enthusiasts – Zeds Dead – will be headlining the Global Dub Arena, hosted by Sub.Mission. Comprised of members DC and Hooks, this duo is known for their awe-inspiring shows, turning even the most reserved audience members into bassheads. Blurring the lines between genres, Zeds Dead somehow always manages to flawlessly mix everything from hip hop to glitch into their largely dubstep based sets.
Krewella – Global Dance Arena
One of 2012′s biggest break out EDM acts has to be Krewella. The perfect combination of sugary sweet vocals and Skrillex-esque production have allowed this trio to provide us with some of the most infectious tunes of the year. I found out these guys really like to party after witnessing their unbelievable set at Global this summer. The video below chronicles the day Krewella spent in Denver before playing their set at Red Rocks.
Flosstradamus – Global Dub Arena
Through the course of 2012, trap music has undoubtedly overtaken the North American music scene. At the forefront of the trap music movement are Chicago’s notorious party starters – Flosstradamus. Bringing new styles into a sometimes repetitive genre, this duo is a must see at Decadence. Their X EP is one of my favorite releases of the year and after seeing them perform at the Filmore in October, I have no doubt they will cause everyone to have a twerking fit this NYE.
