Well look what we have here, a new EP fresh off the press from the trio we all know as Robotic Pirate Monkey, RPM, or as one disgruntled newspaper reported dubbed them, Robo Pi Mo.
This absolutely perfect ep shows us everything that is good with the black sheep producers of our world. God damn did they do a good job on this one, after a long long period where we weren’t sure what was going to come of RPM, they have proven the doubters wrong and kept their fans enticed with this masterpiece.
Sit down, grab a doob, brew or a stiff whiskey on the rocks and listen to this album start to finish on a nice sound system. Really get into it, it deserves your full and undivided attention.
Enjoy this free download of the EP or stream it right here from Press Play.
Robotic Pirate Monkey and Rodway have been on the verge of release for some time now with this track. Some other blogs have improperly labeled this track as Rodway being a featured producer.
The fact is that this track is very much 50/50 in terms of production work and its VERY clear.
The heavy bass lines both artists share in their other work, the Robotic Pirate Monkey vocal sampling and the classic Rodway piano work on the high synths.
Enjoy the free download and watch this video that Monster Energy made using the track. BLAMO.
Our very good friends, Robotic Pirate Monkey, have been slaving away at this full length album for some time now.
I can say, with confidence, that some of the tracks were started in my San Francisco HQ apartment during the Buried Treasure Tour and finished in our Mandu Studios here in Boulder.
This being the case, I can tell you better than anyone they put hundreds of hours into each and every one of these tracks just for your listening pleasure.
The trio out of Boulder, CO is releasing this hot fire and you need to Download IT RIGHT NOW.
Listen to it all the way through, and ladies, watch out, panties may drop.
ENJOY!!!

This multi-faceted musician from Merrit Island, Florida has been covering drums and recording the video for his youtube channel for sometime now and they seem to only get better, no matter the genre, BPM (Beats Per Minute) or style of drumming.
They’ve done it once again, the Boulder, Colorado trio that is Robotic Pirate Monkey has produced a creepy, eerie soundscape of a track. They call it Party Animal.
We at Press Play had the pleasure of seeing this track go from a wild idea of animal noises and pitched down scary voices to a well rounded track here at Mandu Studios.
Robotic Pirate Monkey will be debuting this track on there upcoming album, “Colors in Disguise”, which is set to be released Monday November 28th, 2011.
Incepted by a freshly off the playa Matt Flesher, this track was quickly brought up as possible music for an upcoming video, produced by Stept Productions.
Enjoy the music video, I guarantee that we will be posting a download link soon.
Stept Productions is a film production company based just up the street from Press Play and Mandu Studios in Boulder, Colorado.
Founded in 2002 in Winchester, Massachusetts by Alex and Nick Martini, Stept Productions has cranked out a ski movie a year since ’02.
Renowned for their skiers wildly progressive hand rail and park jump stunts, this crew of filmers, skiers and riders have made quite the name for themselves in the mountain world.
Now, in an attempt to break into the full fledged film production world, they have decided that a music video would be the perfect place to start.
Stept is getting bigger by the day and won best Jib segment at IF3 in Montreal this past September.
Check out Stept and enjoy the video below as they have worked tirelessly on the editing and production side of it.
There are hot chick’s in it too, so that’s another great reason to Press Play.
