The Australian duo Indian Summer is on top of the game this spring, dropping some of the biggest hitters of the season. They released a remix a few weeks back that caught my attention initially and I became an instant fan. Bring us back to the first week of May and these two heaters drop into our lap. Enjoy them and hit up iTunes for the download!
Hello everyone! Check out this excellent remix of Rufus Thomas’ classic funk tune Fried Chicken which has been given a dance floor facelift by Slynk. If this song doesn’t get your feet moving then I don’t know what will, that drum beat and bass line definitely does it for me.

What’s up party people, check out this brand new EP from bass music guru ill.Gates. Included are five huge tracks that represent the whole spectrum of current bass music trends, from glitch-hop all the way to up to drumstep.
I think my favorite of the five would have to be Follow Me because of the bouncy hip-hop/trap vibe it has to it. I also really like how it progresses and stays fresh throughout the whole song.
Download the whole EP for FREE below (click “Buy”), or if you’re feeling extra saucy, buy this release at an of these fine internet retailers: iTunes, Addictech, Beatport.
Last week the bass music prodigy known as Haywyre released his latest album titled Infinite which is an adventure through heavy glitch inspired bass music that sounds incredibly well thought out and produced. The album is comprised of eight tracks – including one from local producer The Digital Connection – and each song embodies a different sound and vibe which makes it very easy to listen to beginning to end. If you have yet to discover Haywyre now is the time as he will surely continue to gain popularity in the EDM world.
I’ll leave you with this quote from the man himself:
The idea behind the album name “Infinite” came from our tendency to label existences with specific beginnings and ends. The circle represents the possibility of a never-ending existence, as opposed to one with a beginning and an end.
