 Nunca Duerma

Nunca Duerma, meaning “Never Sleep” in Spanish, is the rising Chicago resident who has his debut EP coming out on Eliot Lipp’s Old Tacoma Records.

The Dilated EP comes out November 6th and is available for preview now (SEE BELOW).

Expect Nunca Duerma to be touring heavily in the coming months with his tasteful sets full of beats, pieces and solid originals that will most definitely get any room bumping.

They are playing a massive run in late January in Colorado and I can tell you no, they will ALL sell out.

This track is a remix of one of my favorite Eliot Lipp tracks, with that Big G saxophone nastiness.

I have never seen a group take on a crowd like Big Gigantic does, even if no one in the crowd has ever heard their music.

SunSquabi

This versatile duo turned full swung band has been crushing it since there debut set at Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

Discovering SunSquabi was an unforgettable experience in a tempest-like storm at Red Rocks.

As I entered Red Rocks on the first of three days of Global, I heard HEAVY dubstep coming from the main stage.

In the torrential downpour that ensued, one of the cleanest live acts played a truly different set.

Equipped with a full on iMac, numerous DJ controllers, a guitar, a drum set, a keyboard, and a bass guitar, they came to open the weekend with a bang.

You can see them play live at The Fox Theatre on December 7th, 2011 with Eliot Lipp and Slim Thugz.
