First off, forgive me on this post. Why do i say that? It’s because this post could overwhelm you, and it could make you take a step back and say “wow, that just happened.” This is the official music video from the group FKi, for their song “Stuntin’”. This group is from Atlanta and their goal, “to bring the fun back to Hip-Hop”. And bring the fun back they do; FKi takes popular dubstep songs like “Eyes Low” and “Dripping”, and tosses them in a nice hearty stew of true southern rap. The product? Something so new, innovative and musically amazing. I highly doubt you’ve heard of them (if you have, you have extremely good taste in music), but people making moves in the industry have, and it can’t be long before these guys blow up! The man, the myth, the legend: Diplo, caught wind of these guys and produced a song with them upandcoming female rapper, Iggy Azalea, entitled “I Think She Ready”. Both “Stuntin’” and “I Think She Ready” are off the group’s mixtape, Transformers N The Hood. Stay tuned and listen to more, here, at the group’s website.
You’ll notice on the soundcloud player for “Stuntin’” that the profile is under the name of popular DJ Heroes x Villains (aka the man who’s worked with the likes of T.I., Young Jeezy, Justin Timberlake, Young Dro, Yung LA, and Lil Wayne), and that’s because the beat to this song was made my none other then the aforementioned.
